JOB OPPORTUNITY: USGS OKI WSC Statistician Information Session – New Position Opening

The USGS Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center (OKI WSC) is holding an Information session via TEAMS on a soon to be posted statistician position on Thursday September 1st at 5 PM EDT. It is an opportunity for potential candidates to ask questions about the USGS, the job, and the OKI WSC. This position has the flexibility of being posted in Columbus, Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana, or Louisville, Kentucky. It also is open as remote but would require frequent trips to our offices or into the field. The position will be a GS-12 and all candidates must meet the necessary requirements.

This information session is intended to increase the candidate pool and find a right statistician with good statistical skills, especially related to hydrology, water quantity, and water quality, to help guide OKI WSC science moving forward.

Charles Crawford and Greg Koltun, two of the preeminent statisticians for the OKI WSC will be on hand to help answer questions.
