The USGS Water Mission Area (WMA) Office of Programming and Planning (OPP) has several 2-year Mendenhall Postdoc Research Opportunities for current or recent PhD students. The four Mendenhall Postdoc Research Opportunities the WMA OPP is sponsoring broadly relate to the WMA Integrated Water Prediction (IWP) Program’s goal to develop the capacity to accurately predict water availability through integrated models of the complete hydrologic cycle. WMA OPP Postdoc Research Opportunities include
- Advancing co-design of models and data networks
- Advancing representation of groundwater surface water interaction in regional and national hydrologic models
