Great Lakes Themed Midwest Climate Resilience Conference in October 2025

The Great Lakes Commission’s (GLC) Standing Committee on Climate Resilience is thrilled to partner with the Midwest Climate Resilience Conference (MCRC) to offer a Great Lakes theme for this 3-day convening, scheduled for October 20-22 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The GLC is coordinating a Great Lakes conference sub-track that will highlight basin-wide resilience efforts for all conference attendees, and will host a working session for Great Lakes resilience practitioners.

The 3-hour, interactive working session—What’s Next for Great Lakes basin resilience implementation? Making recommendation to chart a common path forward—will explore work occurring throughout the region. Participants will use the framework of the Action Plan for a Resilient Great Lakes Basin to explore and identify future activities to be considered by the GLC for implementation in 2026.
