The Illinois Water Resources Center (IWRC), in partnership with the Cancer Center at Illinois (CCIL), requests proposals to fund exploratory research or educational projects to drive a new initiative: Emerging Frontiers in the Water-Cancer Nexus. This is an open call contingent on funding availability. In order to be eligible for this opportunity, the cancer researcher must be a CCIL member. The full proposal must be submitted by Monday, March 31st, 2026. You can read the Proposal Checklist for guidance on what information is required. A budget breakdown and justification are required for the proposal submission; there is a Budget Template1 and a Budget Justification Template available to guide you. Submit your full proposal here and upload the proposal as a single PDF with a file name that includes the PI’s last name.
