Southern Illinois University looking to Hire an Assistant Professor in the Field of Environmental Geology, Application Review Begins 2/15/2024

The School of Earth Systems and Sustainability (ESS) at Southern Illinois University (SIU), Carbondale campus, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in the broad field of Environmental Geology. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2024. 

ESS seeks a highly motivated researcher and educator with research interests focused on hydrology, geomorphology, and/or surficial processes. Preference will be given to applicants with a focus on physical environmental science that can complement their existing strengths in environmental and sustainability fields, such as geochemistry and sedimentology, and within the larger context of the School of Earth Systems and Sustainability.   

The review of applications will begin on February 15th,  2024 and continue until the position is filled.
